 MISERICORDIA UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
 LIBRARY INSTRUCTION REQUEST FORM

Misericordia University instructors and professors may schedule a library instruction class for both their undergraduate and graduate students that supports the coursework assignments, students’ research topics and the information literacy goals of Misericordia University. Library instruction classes review both print and electronic resources and include general research search strategies. The reference staff recommends course instructors submit requests at least three weeks in advance of preferred dates to maximize the availability of library staff, preparation time by the librarian and access to an instruction classroom.

To request a library instruction class customized for your course, please review the scheduling tips, complete the requested information below, and submit this form. Upon receipt of your request, a librarian, specializing in the research subject area requested, will contact you to further discuss your class needs and to confirm the presentation time and location. Your request will be confirmed within three business days.

  • Classes may be held in the library in the research computer lab on the 2nd floor, the Alden Lab (first floor), in your classroom or at another mutually agreeable site.
