Occupational Therapy Career Exploration Camp

CAMP DATES 2019: June 30 to July 2, 2019

ARRIVE SUNDAY AFTERNOON JUNE 24 THROUGH TUESDAY JUNE 26, 2018

For best consideration, applications should be received by April 1, 2019. Applicants will be notified whether they have been accepted by May 1, 2019. The fee for summer camp is $100.00 to be paid upon acceptance.

Please note acceptance to the camp is on a competitive basis, and is not first come-first served. All applications are reviewed. Students should not assume they have a spot in the camp until hearing of the camp decisions after May 1.

Please keep in mind when choosing to apply that:

The camp is intended for persons who have an interest in both OT and Misericordia University
The camp is not designed for students whose primary interest is physical therapy and Misericordia University. Please contact the Admissions Dept at MU for further information about physical therapy at MU.
There is some scholarship money available for students who have financial limitations to help cover part or all of the $100.00 fee if admitted. Students should note on their application of such as part of their answer to question 6.
Students who are admitted to the camp will be required to send proof of their academic performance to date in high school via a copy of their high school transcript.

* There are no additional fees anticipated to this camp for food or lodging to Misericordia University outside of a deposit which will be used to defray camp costs. Students are responsible for their own transportation to the camp on June 30th and leaving the camp to return home on July 2th. Misericordia University will provide transportation while at the camp. Upon acceptance to the camp the $100.00 deposit is required.
