Director's Welcome

Welcome to the Mary Kintz Bevevino Library! Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, Friend, alumni or visitor, all are welcome at the library. You are encouraged to browse our diverse collection of library materials, which have been primarily selected to support the University’s curriculum. However, you will find some items in our collection that are meant for entertainment, especially when students are in need of a break from their studies. We have a rotating collection of recently released feature films on DVD, and we maintain a rotating collection of popular, bestselling fiction titles. For students, faculty, and staff, we have iPads and laptops available for short term borrowing. When not on campus, enter the library virtually through our webpage. Here, you can find our catalog and Research Guides, which will assist with your research needs. Members of the Misericordia community have 24/7 access to our databases, electronic journals, and e-books from both on and off campus. Our most important resource is the library staff. As long as the library is open, there is always someone available to help you with your research. If you are not able to come to campus, you can always call, text, e-mail, or chat with a librarian during normal library hours. During the academic year, the library sponsors a number of events, including recognizing new and recently published faculty, the Friends Speaker Series, and National Library Week activities. There is something for everyone at the Bevevino Library!
